v2.146.026 October 2026

More control over edits and imports

Riplo AI can make changes you approve from Ask mode and work more precisely inside groups. More PowerPoint and PDF content comes in editable, while improvements to charts, exports and the slide editor help your work look the way you expect.

Highlights

  • Ask, then edit

Tell Riplo AI to make the changes you discussed in Ask mode. A short countdown lets you run the edit immediately or cancel it.

  • Precise group edits

Riplo AI can line up or space out items inside a group without moving the whole group.

  • More editable imports

Riplo AI can rebuild picture-only pages in an attached PDF as editable content. More PowerPoint charts also import as editable charts instead of empty frames.

  • More search results

When a search group has more matches than the palette first shows, open the rest without losing your query.

New behaviour

ai

  • Riplo AI can line up or space out items inside a group without moving the whole group.
  • Riplo AI can put letters as well as numbers on numbered discs.
  • When more tasks exist than fit on the folded panel, a “+N” opens the full task list, with tasks needing your attention shown first.
  • Reviewed AI tasks stay in your task list until you archive them, so you can return to a thread and ask for more.
  • Tell Riplo AI to go ahead in Ask mode and it switches to Edit to make the changes you discussed, then returns to Ask.
  • Before an Ask-mode edit runs, you can use the countdown to run it immediately or cancel and keep a “Run in Edit” option for later.
  • Riplo AI can rebuild picture-only pages of an attached PDF as editable content while importing the other pages directly.

slides

  • Drag a Harvey ball’s handle to set its fill to any whole percentage.
  • Double-click a Harvey ball to move to its next preset fill.
  • Drag ellipse handles to adjust a pie cut or the inner hole of a ring.
  • Press Cmd+A or Ctrl+A in the slide list to select every slide for copying, moving or duplicating.
  • PowerPoint imports can recognise a clear slide headline as its title even when the file does not identify one, making it available in the slide rail, outline and Riplo AI.
  • PDF pages with transparency masks can import as editable slides instead of single-page pictures, with the masked areas remaining pictures.

charts

  • Import 3-D column, bar, area and line charts from PowerPoint as editable flat charts with their data.
  • Import pie-of-pie and bar-of-pie charts as a single pie containing every slice.

clipboard

  • Copy a slide image once and paste it as an image into another app or as an editable slide image back into Riplo.

editor

  • Drag the slide thumbnail rail wider, narrower, closed or open; Riplo remembers its size on this device.

exports

  • Harvey balls, circular arcs and stretched rings remain editable shapes when exported to PowerPoint.

search

  • Open additional Deck, Slide or Chat search results with the “Show N more” row without losing your query.

UI

14

ai

  • When Riplo AI fills a bar chart beyond what its frame can show clearly, it can shorten the data or give the chart more room.
  • Reviewed AI tasks show a grey Riplo mark, while the archive box appears on tasks you archived.
  • Completed thinking steps read “Thought” instead of retaining a playful working status.
  • Opening a task with Enter focuses its reply box when one is available; Escape followed by Left returns to the task list.

charts

  • Automatically placed pie and doughnut legends move away from category labels.
  • A CAGR arrow measured against one line-chart series follows that series’ points.
  • Recoloured chart marker lines and arrows show their new colour while selected, with a soft glow indicating the selection.
  • Difference-arrow dashes break around the numbers on a chart’s right-hand axis.

exports

  • PDF exports and slide thumbnails draw common Microsoft fonts with their actual letterforms rather than look-alikes.
  • Small logos and pictures stay sharp when you zoom in on or print a PowerPoint export.
  • Small logos and enlarged low-resolution pictures look smooth in PDF exports, as they do in the editor.

editor

  • Editing and selection outlines follow rotated elements while collaborator avatars remain upright.

slides

  • Click the canvas around a slide to close slide history.

tables

  • Table row controls, including the first row’s Header toggle, stay clear of the slide thumbnail rail.

charts

  • PowerPoint charts with labels on only some data points retain that choice when imported.
  • Chart titles in imported PowerPoint files appear at their original size and position instead of being omitted.
  • Pie and doughnut charts of the same size draw equally sized discs regardless of where their labels sit.
  • Area charts retain their colour strength after a PowerPoint export and import.
  • Imported PowerPoint doughnut charts retain their original hole size.
  • PowerPoint charts with downward columns, leftward bars or right-to-left categories retain their direction when imported.
  • Imported PowerPoint scatter charts show points at their original positions with the source’s X-axis labels.
  • Imported PowerPoint bubble charts show each point at its original position and size.
  • Bar, column and waterfall charts exported to PowerPoint keep their bars and data labels together.
  • Bubble charts exported to PowerPoint retain the largest bubble’s size, transparency and thin outlines.
  • Chart axis lines keep their slide colour in PowerPoint exports instead of turning grey.
  • Stacked area charts with positive and negative values export to PowerPoint with negative values stacking down from zero.
  • Stacked bars set to have no gap remain touching in PowerPoint exports.

slides

  • Moving, nudging or aligning a line, fork or callout leaves its attachment targets in place unless you select them too.
  • Moving a shape near a line no longer attaches the line to it.
  • Circular arcs stop at a full turn instead of extending past it.
  • Page numbers and the slide counter in present mode count only slides your audience sees.
  • Small shapes can be dragged again because their adjustment handles hide when the shapes are too small on screen.
  • A large section number beside a PDF title no longer pulls the imported title into a page-sized text box.
  • PDF pages without text, such as blank pages or photos with a logo, import as drawn rather than being treated as scans.
  • Transparent slide backgrounds show at the strength you set in the editor, presentations, thumbnails and exports.

text

  • Importing a PDF exported from Riplo preserves Hindi, Thai, Arabic, accented and emoji text.
  • List items without a paragraph export to PowerPoint without an unwanted bullet or number.
  • Code exported to PowerPoint retains its slide size, and code blocks keep their monospace font and spacing.
  • Links exported to PowerPoint retain the theme’s link colour unless the surrounding text has its own colour.
  • Text beginning with an abbreviation or letter followed by a full stop stays as written instead of becoming a list, including when pasted.

images

  • Pictures stored under the wrong file type in a PowerPoint file appear when imported.
  • Round photos in imported PowerPoint files appear instead of empty outlines.
  • Option-dragging a logo or image to copy it no longer shows a conflict prompt for the copy.

tables

  • Imported PowerPoint tables retain more of their built-in style colours and borders, including styles that previously left their text unreadable.
  • PowerPoint table text without its own font size imports at the deck’s default size.
  • Thick inside table borders stop at the lines they meet rather than extending into neighbouring cells.

ai

  • Riplo AI can edit charts and tables with long labels, pronounced corner rounding or shapes extending past a slide edge without the edit failing.
  • When Riplo AI divides a waterfall chart into coloured segments, it can keep the total bar in one colour.

exports

  • Text in PDF exports, slide images and thumbnails wraps on the same lines as it does in the editor.
  • PDF page numbers count only exported slides, including when hidden slides are skipped or you export a selection.

clipboard

  • Copying highlighted text in the Riplo panel copies the text rather than a slide you previously selected.

decks

  • Pressing Tab while renaming a deck saves the new name.

editor

  • Picking a screen colour applies the colour you clicked instead of retaining the fill’s previous opacity.

home

  • Pressing Tab while renaming yourself on Home saves the new name.

templates

  • Pressing Tab while renaming a template saves the new name.
