A clearer path from Ask to Edit

You can now paste text or images straight into Ask Riplo, and the handoff to Edit is easier to follow and control. Deck imports open sooner, downloads work more reliably after you return to a tab, and tables broken into shapes continue to follow your theme.

Highlights

  • Ask to Edit

See your original request as Riplo AI moves from Ask to Edit. You can cancel before the edit starts, and your next message stays in Edit.

  • Paste into Ask

Paste directly into the Ask Riplo bar. Text keeps its line breaks, while an image opens the chat with the image attached.

  • Deck imports open

A deck imported from Home opens once its first slides are ready, even when the server is busy.

  • Theme-aware table shapes

Break a table into shapes, then change your theme or an accent colour. The pieces recolour while text you coloured yourself stays put.

New behaviour

7

ai

  • Pasting text into the Ask Riplo bar opens the chat with every line preserved.
  • Pasting an image into the Ask Riplo bar opens the chat with the image attached.
  • When an Ask request moves to Edit, you can cancel the five-second countdown before changes begin.
  • If you have already told Riplo AI to go ahead, an Ask request switches to Edit without a countdown.
  • After an Ask request switches to Edit, your next message stays in Edit.

tables

  • Tables broken into shapes now follow theme and accent colour changes, while text you coloured yourself keeps its colour.

teams

  • People with an organization invitation can join by signing up or signing in directly, without following the email link.

UI

7

ai

  • During a switch from Ask to Edit, Riplo AI shows your original request instead of rewriting it.
  • A “Switched to Edit” marker separates your Ask request from the edit that follows.
  • The “changes made” card appears beneath the turn that made the changes while Riplo AI works.
  • Follow-up messages sent while Riplo AI is working show a dashed “Queued” outline.
  • Consecutive AI thinking steps appear as one descriptive row rather than repeated “Thought” entries.
  • While Riplo AI is thinking, its working line appears once in the task status instead of repeating beneath it.

slides

  • The loading message appears in the middle of the slide only when a deck takes more than a moment to open.

Bug fix

5

ai

  • Riplo AI catches invalid icon, indicator and logo names in table cells instead of silently leaving a cell empty or removing an existing mark.
  • A failed AI task ends by showing its error rather than another thinking step.

exports

  • Downloading a deck as PDF or PowerPoint works on the first try after you return to an idle tab.

home

  • Importing a deck from Home opens it once the first slides arrive instead of leaving you on Home when the server is busy.

tables

  • Recognised icon and logo names work consistently in table cells and other AI edits.
